It is Tuesday today, and you know what that means…
IT’S TIME FOR A HEALTHY TIP, YAAAYY!! :)
So today’s Healthy Tip of the Day is:
Drink more water.
You: “Oh, that’s nothing new! I’ve already heard that water is good for you.” <insert massive yawn here>
Me: “Yes! But do you know WHY it is good for you??”
Water has so many benefits that can affect you on the inside AND out! Not only does it completely detoxify you and clear up your skin, it’s amazing at shedding those unwanted kilos/pounds as it helps with metabolism as well as keeping you full!! Most people actually confuse hunger with being dehydrated, so next time you feel those hunger pangs, have some water first and you might be surprised at how much better you will feel (not to mention losing those cravings ;))! And not only that, water protects and moisturises our joints, so if you’re a regular runner or an avid exerciser, chug back that water like there’s no tomorrow to reduce injury risk!
Every cell in our body needs water, from head to toe (did you know our brain consists of 90% water?!), so drink up to avoid fatigue and to maintain great brain function!
Now, I could go on and on and on about how amazing water is for you, but I think I’ll have to restrain myself ever so slightly in order to keep this post a decent length, and also to stay interesting! :D
So! One last thing before I scoot off: Experts say to try and drink half of your body weight in ounces/litres of water a day (eg. 170 pounds = 85 ounces of water a day! Or 77 kilos = 2.5 litres) and see how different you will look, and most importantly, feel! :)
